MSC Malaysia IP Creators Challenge Series The Intellectual Property Creators Challenge (IPCC) Series 2008 MSC Malaysia, through Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC)and its Creative Multimedia Department, has initiated a series of creative content competition in 2006. The competition now has become an annual event that covers various types of creative multimedia content. Come and compete in the 2008 series:- Animation Closing date - 11th July 08 Competition which includes ideas that encompasses pre-production, story information and eventual background Computer Casual Games Closing date - 31th July 08 Aimed at attracting game developers and publishers with innovative and creative concepts for PC games Digital Interactive Comic Closing date - 31th July 08 Designed to tap the under-developed digital comic industry. Mobile Edutainment Content Closing date - 31th July 08 To attract creative mobile content pursuers to create ideas into reality. What to Expect This unique competition is open to amateurs and professionals from the creative multimedia industry. It is a competition which is richly supplemented with a 'step-by-step' and 'how-to' workshops for the benefit of the participants. All four (4) competitions will run concurrently. Judges are selected from among the best in the industry. Creative ideas and ability to pitch confidently will come handy when finalists meet face-to-face with them during the pitching day. At the end of the competition, winners will receive a sum of money, a development lair at Cyberjaya, unlimited access to Creative Applications and Development Centre facilities and consultancy from experts in the field. Potential home-grown creative contents will stand a chance to gain international recognition. MDeC reserves the right to showcase the product for promotion purposes while the intellectual property remains with the Contributor's Note i wish to participate in this competition especially in digital comic category. wish me luck!
